"We came to the city on our own accord because we wanted to make everything the right way," Salazar said, noting the business supports five employees.
Council discussion included a motion to deny the items on behalf of an absent member, followed by a motion from another councilmember to continue the item to Aug. 20 to allow the applicant to work with the council member and neighbors. The motion to continue carried; staff and the applicant were directed to seek additional feedback and possible changes before the next hearing date.
