The Woodlawn Lake Neighborhood Association and nearby neighbors provided support; staff recommended denial but the Zoning and Planning Commissions recommended approval.
Council member Aloneta Gavito praised the applicant's willingness to work with neighbors and moved to approve the item, noting agreed conditions such as limiting heavy equipment, creating an eight‑foot screen fence and improving the entrance to prevent traffic buildup. The motion to approve carried by council vote without a recorded roll-call tally.
