DUI Task Force opts for coffee gift cards, authorizes sleeves to brand rewards

At its June 11 meeting the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County DUI Task Force voted to distribute coffee gift cards for the Fourth of July outreach rather than gas cards and authorized branded sleeves to accompany the gift cards.
Morgan Smith said rewarding drivers with “something different” — the gas cards — had been appreciated in the past, but the membership approved a motion from Commissioner Mike Beausoleil to purchase coffee cards for the Fourth of July distribution; the motion was seconded by Trooper George Nassour and passed unanimously. The minutes record that each establishment on the distribution list will receive five coffee gift cards.
The task force also approved a separate motion to buy 400 gift-card sleeves from Amazon at a total cost of $20.99; Officer Marc Arment made the motion and Lauren Bolten seconded. Bolten offered to create and purchase logo stickers to place on the sleeves.
Members were asked to bring design and messaging ideas for the sleeves to the July meeting.
