Commission approves recreation hires and abolishes recreation office manager title

Commissioners approved the noncompetitive appointments by motion.
Staff also said the recreation office manager title would be abolished and replaced by a recreation office administrator after funding and union processes were completed; the commission approved the abolishment. Salvo described the title change as a response to a department request and noted the position's funding had been resolved.
