Public works plans splash pad opening, street repairs and village cleanup

Public Works Superintendent Brian English told trustees crews have started seasonal mowing, continue to patch potholes and address ditches, and are preparing for the splash pad to open on Memorial Day. He said the crew is also progressing on lead-line work and updating hydrant information as flushing continues.
Trustee Tom Jordan asked about adding stop signs at two Diamond Street intersections and English suggested putting "child playing" signs near the new park. The Board asked Police Chief Eric Hansell to review applicable ordinances and traffic controls before any sign or ordinance change.
