South Jacksonville swears in unopposed officials, approves $265,992.61 in payables

The board moved quickly through consent business. Trustees approved payables in the amount of $265,992.61 by unanimous roll call after a motion from Trustee Steve Retzer and a second from Trustee Tom Luber. The board also approved minutes from multiple February–April meetings and accepted the Treasurer’s Report for February 2025.
The swearing-in and the financial approvals were presented as routine, with no recorded dissent. Trustees said follow-up items (including additional agenda items) will be handled at an upcoming special meeting scheduled for May 15.
