On construction and facilities, the Director briefed the board on a proposed change order that would reallocate about $106,000 in unused electrical fees from a general contract toward a stadium sound system for baseball, softball and football, which he said would preserve in‑house money for other needs. "If we change order that money out, that would pay for the sound system for the baseball, softball, and football stadium," he said.
The board heard deputy director staffing updates (97.4% positions filled for classified/substitute roles on day one, with several certified and nonclassroom SPED openings) and was reminded of upcoming committee meetings and calendar planning for 2027–28.
