"What you have here is the, the budget amendment in order to pay our 1 time, bonus to our employees from our performance bonus based on the previous year," the Director said during consideration of the item. Board members asked no substantive questions and moved to adopt the amendment.
The motion carried 5‑0. The board noted the payment is a one‑time action rather than a recurring salary increase and that the funding source was considered as part of the FY2027 budget planning.
