The Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School District Board of Education approved a bundled consent agenda on Oct. 8, 2025, in a single motion by Melissa Maldonado, seconded by Heidi Schwarz. The motion carried with four members voting yes (Loni Koument-Holdridge, Alan Trinkle, Melissa Maldonado and Heidi Schwarz) and one member absent (Jean Jaeger). The consent package included approval of minutes from the Sept. 10, 2025 meeting, the Treasurer's Report for September 2025, and Superintendent transfers for October 2025.
The consent agenda also included the October bill schedule with fund subtotals recorded in the minutes: All Funds checks #54685'#54690 totaling $9,975.80; General Fund checks #54691'#54767 totaling $472,816.33; Federal Fund check #2535 totaling $4,542.98; School Lunch Fund check #381 totaling $27,337.31; and Capital Project checks #10123'#10124 totaling $12,114.00. The board accepted the Annual Report and Single Audit Report from Raymond G. Preusser, CPA, P.C., for the year ended June 30, 2025, and also adopted the 2025'2026 Free and Reduced Price Meal Program Policy Statement "as prescribed by the State Education Department," appointing district officials to hearing, reviewing and verification roles.
