Board approves retirements, appointments and district trip on consent agenda
Summary

By voice vote the Board approved the consent agenda, which included acceptance of multiple resignations for the purpose of retirement and several appointments. The clerk read each item by motion: retirements accepted effective 07/01/2026 for elementary teacher Linda Swans (28 years), Erin McNeil (34 years), Monica Donovan (30 years) and special education teacher Kimberly Mangino (26 years). "Upon the recommendation of the superintendent, the resignation for the purpose of retirement... be accepted," the clerk read before the board voted "Aye."
The board also approved appointments after successful completion of probation: Patrick Sullivan and Russell McNamara were permanently appointed as cleaners effective 02/11/2026. An overnight wrestling trip for Jan. 30–31, 2026 to participate in a NYSPHSAA Division 2 dual meet was also approved. All consent items carried by voice vote during the meeting.
