The board accepted resignations from multiple staff members, including Catherine Musso (special education teacher, effective 08/31/2025) and others, and thanked them for their service.
Following superintendent recommendations, the board approved numerous personnel actions: appointments for early-morning supervision personnel at $18 per hour; teacher aides as extracurricular substitutes for 2025–26; home-instructor approvals for ETA substitutes; and probationary appointments for several support staff and monitors. These motions were moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board also approved the Eden Teachers Association contract covering July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2029. Separately, trustees authorized transfers of 2024–25 unassigned fund balance into reserves as of 06/30/2025: $200,000 to the workers' compensation reserve; $700,000 to the ERS retirement contribution reserve; $255,231 to the TRS retirement contribution reserve; $1,107,916.21 to the capital project building reserve; and $500,000 to a capital reserve for vehicles and buses.
Other actions included revising adult a la carte lunch pricing to $5.20 and approving the transportation routing spreadsheet. Most items passed by voice vote.
