The superintendent explained funding expectations: "This is about a $260,000 project overall. They would be responsible for raising the remainder of those funds. And if they raise them, great. We move forward. If they don't, then we don't, and there's no cost to the district at this point." He also said the district could contribute up to approximately $30,000 in local funds as a maximum commitment if the campaign secures the rest of the money.
