Eden Board approves staff transfers, resignations and summer hires

The board approved the resignation of cafeteria monitor Emily Bauer effective June 30, 2025; accepted the resignation of cleaner Stacy Pagan effective July 8, 2025; and approved the transfer of Sherilyn Stevens to senior clerk typist in the business office and secretary to the assistant superintendent of finance and operations, effective July 1, 2025.
Superintendent's report and discussion noted the district had an internal candidate with relevant HR experience for the business-office role. The superintendent explained, "She has a lot of HR experience, which is exactly what we need, as we dive deeper and deeper into the world of benefits." The board also approved summer positions (e.g., Zachary Hammond, summer labor from 07/03/2025–08/29/2025) and amended extended school year appointments to run from 07/01/2025 through 08/29/2025 for specified employees.
