Eden board accepts several resignations, approves personnel and administrative items

During the meeting the board approved multiple personnel items under new business. The board accepted, upon the superintendent's recommendation, the retirement resignation of senior clerk stenographer Kathleen McCarthy effective July 31, 2025 and thanked her for 22 years of service. The board also accepted the resignation of bus attendant and cafeteria monitor Mary Ann Tibersky effective April 20, 2025, and the retirement of bus driver Linda Christ effective April 30, 2025; in each case the board moved, seconded and carried the motions by voice vote.
The board also approved the retirement of teacher Amy Whitman effective May 4, 2025; nominated several incumbents for seats on the Erie 2 BOCES Board of Education; declared a 2016 Chevrolet (VIN IGB3GRBF2GI291852) excess to be sold on Auctions International; and approved probationary-date adjustments for staff. A resolution setting impartial hearing officer compensation rates was adopted as read. Most consent-agenda items were approved on the superintendent's recommendation by voice vote.
