The ALBA-GOLDEN ISD Board of Trustees met Nov. 17, 2025, and unanimously approved a package of administrative items, including the District and Campus Improvement Plans, updates to local policies, and nominations to two county appraisal-district boards. Board members reported a roll call of six present and one absent; motions carried by recorded tallies of 6-0 with one absence.
Trustee Mike Ragsdale moved to approve the consent agenda, which included the previous minutes, financial reports and a book acquisition (Hlavaty); Terry Clark seconded. “Motion to approve the consent agenda as presented to the board,” the record states. The board then approved the Campus and District Improvement Plans on a motion by Dwayne Ellis, seconded by Jed Sitar. The meeting record shows separate motions approving local policies BE, FNCE and EFB and adopting TASB Update 126, each passing by the same recorded margin.
The board also voted to nominate Sam Currey to the Wood County Appraisal District board and to nominate Candice West to the Rains County Appraisal District board. All votes on these items were recorded as unanimous among those present. The board adjourned at 6:54 p.m.
