District Manager Chuck Adams presented a proposal requested by Supervisor Carol Vaughan for additional cleanup at site '33' and described the work as including perimeter cleanup, removal of dead trees and mulching. "Mr. Adams stated that some cleanup is ongoing; while Brian was working in the area, he was asked to look at the area at 33," the minutes record.
District Engineer Kurt Heath advised the board there is a natural wetland in the center of the area and that the western side includes a separate excavated retention area; the optional scope includes weed‑whacker work on the dry retention slope, which he recommended though it does not impede drainage. The board approved the proposal, including the optional scope, and directed maps be provided to Supervisor Putman; the invoice will be paid upon completion.
