At its June 22 meeting, the Detroit Lakes Public Schools board approved a consent agenda that included payment approvals, personnel authorizations and several service agreements. Board member Mary Rotter moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded by Michael Walther and "carried unanimously."
The consent agenda recorded K–12 computer checks #712573–712810 and two voided checks totaling $737,073.20, ACH/wire payments in the amount of $2,032,564.48, and net payroll transfers on 5/15/26 and 5/29/26 totaling $1,973,060.83, for a combined total of $4,742,698.51. The board also approved student activity account signatories for high school and middle school accounts and authorized staff (including Mark Jenson, Jason Kuehn, Kylie Johnson and Jennifer Fode) to make incoming and outgoing wire transfers and other account transactions on the district's behalf.
The consent agenda included approvals to designate Old National Bank, Midwest Bank, the Minnesota School District Liquid Asset Fund, and Ehlers/Pershing as official depositories for 2026–27; a Student Transportation Services Agreement with Schultz Garage and Bus for the 2026–27 and 2027–28 school years; a Purchase of Services Agreement with Stephanie Hanson for 2026–27; the activity fee and admission price schedules for 2026–27; the 2026 tenure list; and election-related resolutions and timelines connected with the November 3, 2026 general election. All items listed in the consent agenda were approved without recorded opposition.
