Operations staff told the board the general contractor contract is for $54,787,000; architectural fees, FF&E and a technology/low‑voltage package bring the total bond request to $60,276,350. The district estimated an available completion date of July 2028 and said an early finish could permit moving into the new building sooner since rezoning is not required.
Board members approved the motion unanimously. Staff said they would circulate the detailed contract and budget documents to the board shortly.
