Board approves service agreements and construction change orders
Summary

During the July 2 reorganization meeting the Board approved several contracts and construction change orders as part of its consent agenda.
The Board approved an agreement with Samantha Lacy of Pioneer Occupational Therapy PLLC to provide occupational therapy services for 2025–2026, pending Commissioner of Education clearance where applicable. It approved a tuition agreement with Parsons Child and Family Center for July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, and accepted the Columbia Memorial Hospital agreement to provide School Physician services for the 2025–2026 school year. The Board also approved Change Order No. CO GC‑2 and Change Order No. CO GC‑3 for the Smith Site Development project; details of change orders were presented under separate cover.
Why this matters: These agreements affect student health services, special education placements and the district’s capital project costs and schedule. Several items were approved subject to normal clearance and documentation protocols.
