Mr. Taylor, the district safety lead, briefed trustees on the districtwide intruder-detection audit, saying the effort is progressing on schedule. He reported that about 20 of the district's more than 50 facilities had been reviewed so far and that the district needs six or seven more reviews before the end of the semester to stay on pace.
"We are still on pace. We are at 20 of our 50 plus venues that they're going to come look at," Mr. Taylor said, and added that findings flagged in audits have been addressed through the Safety and Security Committee and, when appropriate, in executive session. Trustees acknowledged the update and did not request immediate additional action.
Administration will continue the audits and return summaries of findings as appropriate.
