Board approves MTSS position and language access plan
Summary
Centennial ISD 12 approved a new MTSS position and adopted a Language Access Plan at its June 15 meeting; both items were included in board packets and approved unanimously.
The board approved a new Multi‑Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) position after reviewing a job description included in the board packet. Board member Johnson moved to approve the MTSS position; Schwinn seconded the motion and it passed 6–0–0.
The board also approved a Language Access Plan presented in the packet, on a motion by Murphy, seconded by Linser (Vote: 6–0–0). The Language Access Plan was presented as part of curriculum and equity work; no public comment was recorded on either item and no further board directives were noted in the minutes.
