The board also approved a revision to Policy 410, Family and Medical Leave, on a motion by Murphy, seconded by Schwinn (Vote: 6–0–0). Chair Knisely noted these were routine second readings before adoption. "This was a second reading of Policy 625 Responsible use of Artificial Intelligence," the minutes record.
District staff indicated the AI policy sets responsible‑use expectations for staff and students; the board packet contained the full policy text. No public comment was recorded on the item. The board took the actions as part of its supplemental items for the evening; both policies were adopted without roll‑call opposition.
