The Mesquite ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve an administrative contract to make Pam Sherrill the district’s Director of Health Services, removing her interim designation.
Taylor Morris introduced the candidate and summarized her background, noting more than 25 years of nursing experience and previous district roles. The motion to approve the administrative contract was made by Mr. Banham and seconded by Mr. Seward; the motion carried by voice vote.
Sherrill, accepting the position, described decades of school-nursing work and thanked prior leaders and colleagues. “I am honored to serve Mesquite ISD and look forward to continuing our work and support for our students and staff,” she said.
Board actions on the administrative contract occurred as an item on the personnel portion of the agenda; the board congratulated the new director following the vote.
