The Heritage Pines CDD on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-05, approving updates to the Florida Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement. District Manager Chuck Adams explained the item was presented because of updates to the agreement and said the CDD "is more likely to be the recipient of aid from other governmental entities than a provider of aid." The resolution was approved on a motion by Mr. Michael Walsh, seconded by Ms. Carol Vaughan, with all in favor.
Adoption makes the updated agreement part of the district’s records; staff indicated the agreement clarifies intergovernmental assistance procedures and provides severability and effective-date language required for the district to participate in mutual-aid arrangements.
