Angleton ISD trustees elect Kimi Hunter president in annual reorganization

Kimi Hunter was elected president of the Angleton Independent School District Board of Education during the board's annual reorganization on May 19. Heather Brewer nominated Hunter and Dana Tolbert seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The board also elected Michael Sillavan as vice president and Dana Tolbert as secretary. Justin Journeay nominated Sillavan and Ms. Brewer seconded; Ms. Brewer nominated Tolbert and Mr. Sillavan seconded. All officer elections passed by unanimous vote. Judge Jessica Pulcher administered the oath of office earlier in the meeting to returning member Michael Stroman and new member Katherine Winans.
