Allen ISD honors state champion athletes, robotics team and retiring educator Dr. Robin Bullock

At its May 26 meeting, the Allen ISD Board of Trustees recognized several student and staff accomplishments and honored a retiring district educator.
Trustees praised Sebastian Zavala for winning the 6A boys singles tennis state championship and noted Allen High School’s Laila Greer placed fourth in the UIL 6A 400m. The Overclock robotics Team 15083 from the STEAM Center earned the Design Award in the Lovelace Division at the FIRST Championship in Houston and served as an alliance captain in qualification matches. Coaches and student team members were named in the minutes. The board also recognized the Allen ISD Leadership Academy Class of 2026 for completing a year-long civic-education program about the district.
The board acknowledged Dr. Robin Bullock on her retirement after 31 years in public education. The recognitions were delivered as part of the meeting’s opening presentations and received formal acknowledgment from trustees.
