At its June 15 meeting the Ballinger ISD board approved several routine items by unanimous vote, including the 2026–27 TTESS calendar and appraisers, revisions to the district's personal electronic device policy, procurement authorization to solicit bids for a school SUV using 2025–26 operating funds, and Option 1 of the Claims Administrative Services worker compensation agreement for 2026–27.
"to allow the superintendent to follow the purchasing guidelines for receiving bids from advertisements placed in local paper for a school vehicle (SUV) using funds from the 25-26 Operating Budget," Mr. Scott King moved; the motion and others on the consent-style docket were recorded as passing unanimously.
