Superintendent Jeff Harrison introduced Brian Koss to brief the board on current campus construction on June 1.
Koss reported the Hilton driveway project is progressing on schedule: "The project is progressing well and is currently on schedule, with about two months remaining." He said light pole bases are being installed and that an electrical panel at the board office needs full replacement, requiring a brief power shutdown scheduled for June 19. Koss also described a change order for the 'Y' curve near the stadium and said the district is addressing sediment runoff issues affecting the neighboring Chippewa Hills HOA; excess dirt is being trucked off site because of space limitations.
Board members heard that Phases 1 and 2 of the campus master plan are funded and underway while later phases remain conceptual and unfunded. The construction update did not include a final completion date for subsequent phases.
