Academy ISD trustees approve consent agenda and several local policies

The Academy Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the consent agenda — which included September meeting minutes, September expenditures and budget amendments if needed — at its Oct. 23 regular meeting. Jennifer Burnett moved to approve the consent agenda; Alex Bass seconded the motion and the board recorded the vote as unanimous.
Trustees also voted to adopt several local policies. Adam Fossett moved to approve policies BDAE, EC and GKA, with Jason Lambert seconding; the motion passed unanimously. Later the board approved local policy GKD on a motion from Jennifer Burnett and a second from Amy Adcock. The meeting minutes record all these motions as unanimous votes.
