The Board approved a broad administrative-authority resolution (Resolution 2025-05) granting the Superintendent and the Treasurer/CFO several routine powers intended to streamline district operations for 2025.
Specifically, the board resolved to permit payment of ordinary bills under Section 3313.20 O.R.C. without prior board approval, to authorize the Treasurer/CFO to invest funds not needed for current expenditures under Section 135.09 O.R.C., and to allow blanket purchase orders up to a maximum of $150,000. The resolution also appropriated a $20,000 Service Fund for 2025 and set a $45 daily meal reimbursement allowance (exclusive of up to 20% tip). The Superintendent was authorized to hire personnel and accept resignations on behalf of the Board, pending final Board approval.
