Board elects Mark Dosen president, names Ellen Kramer vice president for 2025

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District Board of Education unanimously elected Mark Dosen as Board President and appointed Ellen Kramer as Vice President during its annual organizational meeting on Jan. 8, 2025.
Tish Kwiatkowski nominated Mark Dosen for president; the board recorded a 5-0 vote to appoint him (Resolution 2025-01). Mr. Dosen then nominated Kramer for vice president; the board again voted 5-0 to approve the appointment (Resolution 2025-02). The board also approved an alphabetical order of voting with the president voting last and affirmed that Robert's Rules of Order will govern procedural questions (Resolution 2025-03).
