District reports record AP participation and scores for 2026

During the curriculum update on July 14, the board was presented with AP exam participation and scoring data for the 2025–26 school year. The district reported 597 students took AP exams (up from 541 last year) and 472 students earned scores of 3 or higher (up from 447), both described as all-time highs.
Tish congratulated students, teachers and building administration for the results and noted that earning a 3 or higher on an AP exam can yield college credit, which can benefit students academically and financially. Trustees asked clarifying questions and offered congratulations for the data included in the curriculum report.
