Under New Business the board approved the senior class trip to Washington, D.C., scheduled March 26–31, 2025; the motion carried (Vote: 5,0). The board also approved placing a girls' golf banner in the Memorial building and adopted a resolution accepting donations. All motions recorded in the minutes carried unanimously.
In Reports, Athletic Director Tom Coombe noted a new head softball coach and provided a fall sports update. EC-12 Principals Anne Oelke and Jeff Carey listed school activities including a 'Choose to be Nice' pledge, kindergarten breakfast, 6th-grade outdoor education at Semer’s Park, picture day, Senior Sunrise, a 7th-grade service project for MN North students, homecoming and bus safety week. Superintendent Anne Oelke provided updates on enrollment, the audit, strategic planning, the arena project and a capital project levy.
Director Colarich moved to adjourn at 6:43 p.m.; Director Omerza seconded and the minutes record the motion carried (Vote: 5,0). The minutes were signed by Hollee Coombe as clerk.
