Northfield council honors Mainland Regional state-champion golf team

"In recognition of outstanding achievement during the 2025-2026 golf season," Kern said while presenting certificates to coaches and players who attended the meeting.
Council members and the audience applauded the team's accomplishment; Council presented individual certificates to the coaching staff and students named on the certificate. The recognition took place during the City of Northfield's work session on June 23, 2026, and council leaders encouraged continued community support for youth athletics.
