Bastrop ISD trustees approve consent agenda including multiple RFP awards

Trustee Kellye Seekatz moved and Trustee Billy Moore seconded a motion to approve the consent agenda, which included the minutes of the Sept. 17 regular meeting; approval of multiple competitive procurement awards (General Electrical Supplies, Equipment, & Services RFP #BA03-2024; HVAC Contracted Services RFP #BA02-2023; Plumbing Gas Line Supplies, Equipment, Services RFP #BA04-2024; Grounds/Landscape Supplies, Equipment Repairs and Services RFP #BA05-2024; Janitorial/Custodial Repairs, Parts, Equipment and Services RFP #BA06-2024; Maintenance/Facilities Supplies, Equipment and Services RFP #BA07-2024); the IMA expense report; and appointment of T-TESS appraisers. The motion carried unanimously.
The consent vote bundles routine items and contract awards that had been vetted by staff. The board did not pull any items for separate discussion, and no dollar amounts for individual awards were read into the record in the minutes provided.
