Bastrop ISD board approves broad consent agenda including multiple procurement items, MOUs and insurance

On Aug. 20 the Bastrop ISD Board approved a comprehensive consent agenda that included minutes from June meetings, several procurement awards and renewals (apparel, print services, copier and paper, fine arts services and supplies, maintenance and HVAC, kitchen equipment maintenance), approval of property and casualty insurance for 2024–25, tax refunds, an IMA report, memoranda of understanding with the University of Texas at Austin Educator Preparation Program and Community Action, Inc. of Central Texas, and legal retainer agreements with Leasor Crass, P.C. and Walsh Gallegos, Trevino, Russo & Kyle, P.C.
Billy Moore moved and Chris M. Dillon seconded approval of the consent items. The Board recorded the motion as carried unanimously. Trustees did not pull any items for separate discussion at the meeting.
