Students, teacher and graduate recognized as Bulldogs of the Month
Summary
Bartlett ISD honored Fifth Graders Chris Burkett and Analyah Rodriguez for academic growth, teacher Didi Ramsey as Elementary Staff Bulldog of the Month, and Sharon Clawson as Secondary Student Bulldog of the Month after earning an Associate's Degree from Temple College.
At its May 12 meeting, Bartlett ISD recognized student and staff achievements. Fifth graders Chris Burkett and Analyah Rodriguez were named Elementary Student Bulldogs of the Month for May; the board noted Chris's reported growth of 30 points in math and 29 points in reading this year and Analyah's 24-point reading growth. Teacher Didi Ramsey was honored as Elementary Staff Bulldog of the Month for her work fostering reading and relationships with students.
The board also recognized Sharon Clawson as the Secondary Student Bulldog of the Month and noted that she received an Associate's Degree from Temple College this week, becoming the first Bartlett ISD student to earn an associate degree prior to high school graduation. The recognitions were presented as part of the meeting's Student/Staff Recognition agenda item.
