Bartlett ISD approves proposed tax rate of $1.16920 to publish

At the May 12 meeting, Bartlett ISD trustees approved a proposed tax rate to be published for public notice: $0.66920 for Maintenance and Operations (M&O) and $0.50000 for Interest and Sinking (I&S), for a combined proposed tax rate of $1.16920. Trustee Sheri Braun moved the measure; Trustee Pablo Solorio seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
The board also set Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. as the date for public hearings to discuss the proposed budget and the proposed tax rate and scheduled the next regular meeting for the same date and time. Both the tax-rate publication and the hearing dates were approved 7-0.
