Trustees unanimously elect officers after swearing-in
Summary
Following certification and oaths for newly elected trustees, the Bartlett ISD Board of Trustees unanimously elected Zachary Buchhorn as president, Sheri Braun as secretary and Pablo Solorio as vice-president; motions passed 7-0.
After canvassing May 3, 2025 trustee election results and administering oaths, the Bartlett Independent School District Board of Trustees reorganized its leadership during the May 12 regular meeting. Notary Public Monica Crouch administered the oath of office to newly elected trustees Sheri Braun, Tammie Hunt, Stephanie Martinka and Steven Wentrcek before officer nominations began.
Trustee Pablo Solorio moved to nominate Zachary Buchhorn for School Board President; the motion was seconded by Trustee Steven Wentrcek and passed 7-0. Meg Bernstein moved to nominate Sheri Braun for School Board Secretary (seconded by Tammie Hunt), and Tammie Hunt moved to nominate Pablo Solorio for School Board Vice-President (seconded by Meg Bernstein); both motions were approved unanimously. The board recorded each motion and vote as part of its reconstitution of officers.
