District Engineer Charlie Krebs reviewed Tier 1 and Tier 2 strategies from the Traffic Calming Assessment 2025. Mr. Conway has begun education-based road, bike and golf cart safety measures. The board was told that three permanent and one mobile speed radar signs will be delivered across the property the first week in February, and that speeding violations have decreased following earlier interventions.
The board asked Mr. Krebs to update page 9 of the report with the Traffic Study conclusions and to flag areas for additional consideration. Members also discussed installing "Do not pass golf cart" signs at the front entrance and crosswalks; Pelican Sound is separately considering modifying traffic violation terms in its bylaws.
