Long asked the CDD to designate a board representative and staff or engineering contact to coordinate with county, state and neighboring entities; the consensus was that Mr. Long and Mr. Merrill would assist, and that Mr. Krebs was authorized to provide technical support as needed. Counsel noted that Army Corps ideas have been presented at the county level and that implementation would likely require multiagency coordination and funding over many years.
