River Ridge board approves goals and performance measures to comply with HB7013
Summary

District management and counsel presented a new reporting requirement under HB7013 that requires special districts to establish annual goals, performance measures, and standards to assess achievement. Mrs. Adams, Mr. Pires, and Mr. Adams described the proposed focus areas (community communication and engagement; infrastructure and facilities maintenance; and financial transparency and accountability) and added the reporting task to the district’s key activity dates.
On motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Twombly, the board approved the Goals and Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form. The initial report must be posted to the CDD website by Dec. 1, 2025.
