Chief of Police Scot Bunch presented a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Bastrop ISD and the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) to permit temporary use of the Cedar Creek High School parking lot as an emergency evacuation and reunification site for the McKinney Roughs Summer Camp. The agreement specifies use during camp operating hours from June 8 through July 31, 2026 and outlines responsibilities for notification and reunification procedures.
Chris Dillon moved and Matthew Mix seconded approval of the MOU. President Dillon asked for comments or questions; none were recorded, and the minutes show the motion carried unanimously. The approved MOU authorizes district staff to coordinate with LCRA per the agreement terms.
