Ballinger ISD adopts employee and student handbooks for 2026-27
Summary
The board unanimously approved the BISD Employee Handbook and the 2026-27 Elementary and Secondary Student Handbooks as presented during the July 13 meeting.
Trustee Jason Strube moved and Trustee Jason Battle seconded approval of the 2026-27 BISD Employee Handbook; the motion passed unanimously. Trustee Jason Battle then moved and Trustee Jason Strube seconded approval of the 2026-2027 Elementary and Secondary Student Handbooks; that motion also passed unanimously.
Board members approved both handbooks as presented in the meeting attachments and did not propose amendments during public session. The handbooks were recorded in the meeting packet as attachments for trustee review; staff will distribute the approved handbooks to employees, students and families in advance of the new school year.
