Architect Ashraf Raghab told the zoning board on Aug. 6 that the room the applicant proposes to designate as a house of worship already exists as a prayer room used by employees and that the project proposes limited interior changes aimed at accessibility.
"The room is already a prayer room as it is," Raghab testified, and he described plans to convert two non‑ADA toilets across the hall into barrier‑free restrooms for public use. Site engineer Ronald Sadowsky explained the restriping plan to add six parking spaces by opening a second drive aisle on Shirley Avenue and agreed to comply with TRC comments on ADA striping and dumpster relocation. "We are proposing 42 spaces on the site," Sadowsky stated. The applicant said there are no proposed exterior changes or new signage at this time.
