Archer City ISD trustees approve FIRST rating, interlocal purchasing agreement and financial report

At its Dec. 16, 2024 meeting the Archer City ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district's FIRST rating and financial management report, an interlocal purchasing agreement with TIPS, and the financial report authorizing payment of bills. Routine minutes were also approved.
Archer City ISD Board of Trustees approved several routine financial and procurement measures during their Dec. 16, 2024 regular meeting. Trustee Mike Gilmore moved to approve the district's FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) rating and financial management report; Trustee Jacie Ferguson seconded and all trustees present voted in favor.
The board also approved an interlocal purchasing agreement with The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) after Trustee Tommy Keeter moved for approval and Trustee Jacie Ferguson seconded. Trustees voted unanimously to approve the financial report and to pay the district's bills. Trustee Tommy Keeter had earlier moved to approve the minutes from the Nov. 18, 2024 regular meeting; Trustee Mike Gilmore seconded and that motion also passed unanimously.
These items were handled as motions on the consent/regular agenda and carried with unanimous votes of the trustees present (Beau Reneau was chairing; trustees Tommy Keeter, Jacie Ferguson and Mike Gilmore voted). No public comments were offered at the meeting.
No formal contingencies or amendments to the motions were recorded in the minutes. The meeting adjourned at 1:30 P.M.
