Board approves recommended hires; several staff resignations reported

Assistant Superintendent Michael Cano presented recommended employment actions and reviewed substitutes and paraprofessionals at the Jan. 9 meeting. Trustees approved the recommended hires, with a motion by Mr. Devon Thompson and second by Mr. Keegan Neill, and recorded no dissenting votes.
Mr. Cano also informed the board of resignations from Stephanie Bell, Griselda Miramontes, Connie Moncada, Tiffany Stickler and Tiffany Terrazas. The minutes list substitute candidates Alex Clements and Michaela Horst and paraprofessionals Alex Onsurez, Carson Ozbun, Norma Perez and Ilsa Ramirez as reviewed by administration.
