Board approves minutes, joins Region 10 purchasing cooperative and casts votes for MCAD candidate

During the Nov. 13, 2024, meeting, the Bosqueville ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda including minutes from the Oct. 16 regular meeting. The motion to approve the minutes was made by Jeff Bird and seconded by Heath Jackson; the motion passed with unanimous approval among members present except that Lance Donaldson recorded an abstention and Christie Harper was absent.
Trustees then approved participation in the Region 10 ESC Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative for the 2025–2026 school year following a recommendation from Mr. Skeeler. Russell Devorsky moved the cooperative participation recommendation and Lance Donaldson seconded; the motion passed unanimously among those present with Christie Harper absent.
The board also approved a resolution directing the district’s cast votes to support Mildred Watkins for the McLennan County Appraisal District Board of Directors, casting the district’s 32 votes for that candidate. The motion to cast the votes was presented by Mr. Skeeler and approved by the board; no roll-call dissent was recorded in the minutes. These votes and approvals were recorded as formal board actions in the meeting minutes.
