Board President Debbie Wright-Hood convened the Bosqueville ISD Board of Trustees on Nov. 13, 2024, where the superintendent provided an update on school safety and district administration matters. The superintendent said building maps are compliant, a door audit will be submitted and "panic buttons are scheduled to be installed on Monday." The board heard this update as part of routine administrative reporting.
The superintendent also told trustees the district’s legislative engagement will include a two-day conference Dec. 5–6 with key speakers. Trustees were notified that Sunflower Bank presented a $578 donation to Bosqueville ISD and plans to present another check in May. In addition, an insurance stipend check for employees is scheduled for distribution on Nov. 14. Those financial notes were given as part of the superintendent’s administrative update and require no board action at this meeting.
District materials presented to the board emphasized compliance and near-term work to improve building safety systems; the board did not take separate action on the items at the Nov. 13 meeting. The meeting record shows the safety update and financial notices were provided during the administrative reports section.
