Bland ISD trustees unanimously approve minutes, financial reports, campus plans and partnership agreements

The Bland ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on a slate of routine items at its Nov. 14 regular meeting. Trustee Trevor Hurst moved to approve the minutes of the Sept. 12 regular session and the Oct. 3 special session; Kendal Wright seconded and the motion carried with all seven trustees recorded present.
Assistant Superintendent Matthew Todd presented the September and October financial reports; Trustee Kendal Wright moved approval, seconded by Trent Poe, and the board unanimously approved. Trustees also adopted campus improvement plan objectives for Bland Elementary (moved by Kendal Wright, seconded by Corey White), Bland Middle (moved by Trevor Hurst, seconded by Trent Poe) and Bland High (moved by Trent Poe, seconded by Trevor Hurst). The board approved the 2024–2025 attendance committees (moved by Jeff Striplin, seconded by Kendal Wright), an interlocal data-sharing agreement with Paris Junior College (moved by Jeff Striplin, seconded by Trevor Hurst) and the Texas Regional Pathways Network (TRPN) partnership agreement (moved by Trevor Hurst, seconded by Kendal Wright). Each motion passed unanimously according to the minutes.
